After many moves in a long Air Force career, Major Hamlin wanted to find a special place for his wife and children to settle down. In 1970 they found this brand new four bedroom and three bath built by Webster Wiley, who happened to live just across the street. The design proved such a pleasure to live within that they never moved again.

That Wiley design is so well conceived. The formal entry with its original artisan tiles intact leads to the formal living and dining rooms that enjoy a soaring ceiling, fireplace, and lots of natural light. The bright kitchen opens to a large family room which also has a raised ceiling, wood flooring, its own fireplace, and a very cool original wet bar. All four bedrooms are off the central hall. The master suite has a large bedroom, walk-in closet, and its own full master bath.

The rear grounds are private and well kept with a patio for outdoor entertaining. The long time owners have done an incredible job of preserving the original character while also maintaining the property so well. The roof has been upgraded as have several windows. There is also central air and heating, updated plumbing, and an oversized thee car attached garage.
