Donald Nielsen found this parcel in 1956 in Glendale’s Verdugo Woodlands and knew that this was where he wanted to build a house for his young wife. Being an engineer, Mr. Nielson worked closely with his Swedish contractor, Einar Nelson, to build their dream home.
